Phoenix Real Estate

Phoenix real estate is a diverse, constantly evolving mix of historical and contemporary. Frank Lloyd Wright became a Phoenix resident in 1937 when he built his winter home, Taliesin West, which now operates as The Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture, here.

With over 1.5 million people living in The Valley of the Sun today, Phoenix real estate developers work diligently to accommodate residents from all walks of life. You will see everything from LEED-certified condos to elegant, single family domains as you pore over real estate for sale in Phoenix.

These communities are some of the most popular with our clients: Biltmore, Central Phoenix, Downtown Phoenix, Scottsdale, Desert Ridge, Tempe, Ahwatukee, Anthem, Cave Creek/Carefree, Glendale, Chandler, Mesa, Surprise, and Gilbert.

Living in Phoenix

McDowell, White Tank, Superstition, Sierra Estrella Mountains surround the valley, giving residents ample views from the basin. One peak, in particular, is Camelback Mountain, a designated Phoenix Point of Pride. Camelback Mountain is part of the Phoenix Mountain Range and is a local landmark in addition to a recreational destination for hikers and rock climbers.

Our city’s dominant water feature is the Arizona Canal part of the Salt River Project distribution system. Initially constructed as an irrigation source for crops in the valley, today it is as much a focal point as utilitarian. Along the banks is Canal Trail, a 35-mile retreat from the grid that makes up Phoenix city streets. Canal Trail winds through suburbs and golf courses, under streets, through tunnels and along the backside of many prominent developments.

For athletic fanatics, Phoenix provides year-round spectator opportunities. Professional sports include Major League Baseball (Arizona Diamondbacks), NFL Football (Phoenix Cardinals), NBA Basketball (Phoenix Suns), WNBA Basketball (Phoenix Mercury), NHL hockey (Arizona Coyotes), plus Arena Football (Arizona Rattlers), and USL Soccer (Arizona United SC).

Then there is the Fiesta Bowl held every year in Glendale, where top college football teams battle it out for the winner’s trophy. Fiesta Bowl Headquarters and Museum are down the street, so to speak, in Scottsdale.

Cultural and Musical Events in Phoenix

Phoenix real estate is a collection of towns that flow from Scottsdale to Chandler with distinct characteristics in each village.

In Scottsdale, the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art is the anchor for the over 100 art galleries in the Arts District. The Museum is near the Scottsdale Historical Museum, the Civic Center, and the Center for the Arts.

On Thursday evenings, Downtown Scottsdale hosts ArtWalk, a free public event that showcases local artisans. Themes for this event aren’t limited to creations you bring into your home. On occasion, you will find antique or classic cars lined up along Main Street as part of the event.

Scottsdale’s Entertainment District and historic Old Town are Scottsdale’s centers for culture, shopping, and nightlife.

Old Town Farmers Market hosts local growers and specialty food producers of organic, and pesticide-free produce, cider and apples, flowers, meat, free-range eggs, locally-made cheese, and bread. Take your dog (please observe leash laws) and stroll around on a Saturday.

Other ways to enjoy a weekend are Music Saturdays and Food Truck Caravans. Eat, drink, and be merry listening to local musicians play at participating establishments.

Salt River Fields at Talking Stick is a sports complex and home to spring training for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondback baseball teams. You’ll also find food festivals, parties, and concerts on the grounds. Scottsdale Stadium is a baseball field in Old Town Scottsdale that is home to the San Francisco Giants.

Scottsdale Fashion Square features Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, and Barney’s plus over 200 additional upscale retailers and boutiques.
