It’s Great to be a Homeowner
I am republishing It’s Great to be a Homeowner as we have added a couple new links towards the end, as a Homeowner, you might find interesting and helpful.
Chloe sent this to us as she is a new homeowner and I’ve decided to add it to our blogs as it has some very informative links others may enjoy.
At the turn of every year, I take stock of what I am grateful for (I should be doing that every day…) and what I feel my biggest accomplishments have been over the past 12 months. It helps me feel even more motivated to give the upcoming year my all!
One of my greatest accomplishments in 2016 was purchasing my home. Now that it’s mine, I want to make sure I’m putting in the effort it takes to make it the best possible sanctuary for my entire family. I’ve spent a lot of time researching what projects I’d like to take on in the coming months — and have even started a few! Here are some of the articles I’m keeping handy for my own use that I think lots of homeowners will enjoy:

Hope everyone enjoys these articles as much as Chloe does.

Sherry Chen from Community Outreach RENOVISO thought another resource; “Baby Proofing Guide” would be another valuable link for new homeowners.
Jenny Silverstone from MomLovesBest.com would also like to share a free checklist to assist new parents with baby proofing their homes.
Kelli Gardener from Groom+Style Enabling Smarter Lifestyles is sharing a link How to increase Your Home Value which I feel you will find very informative. She asked 100+ real estate agents, appraisers and contractors to share their top tips for increasing home values. This is what she came up with. There is also other interesting reading in their How To Guides Archives.
Blake Hughes from Million Mile Secrets is sharing a link on the Ultimate Senior Travel Guide. This article has lots of interesting information for seniors.
All the links have lots of useful information for new homeowners and old homeowners alike. Hope one of them helps you! Let us know.
